Our Easter celebrations begin after sunset on Holy Saturday when we gather outside in the Rectory Wildlife Garden.
We shall hear the story of God's saving purposes for all creation with readings interspersed with song. The new Paschal (Easter) Candle is lit and we proclaim 'the light of Christ' before processing into church where the first Alleluia's of Easter are acclaimed.
This is a dramatic event moving from the darkness of the night into the brightness of a decorated church. Young children are very welcome to come along with adults to experience the drama.
